Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Traquify (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) offered in connection with the domain traquify.com and related Traquify properties.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Traquify, we may collect:
- Account and contact data. For example, name, email address, phone number, company or trade name, and authentication-related data you provide when you register, join a waitlist, or communicate with us.
- Project and property-related data. Information you or your clients submit in connection with scans, quotes, or jobs—such as room descriptions, measurements or scan outputs, photos, video or sensor-derived data, addresses or general location, and messages about a job.
- Technical and usage data. Such as device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, log and diagnostic data, and how you interact with the Services (for example pages viewed and timestamps).
- Communications. Content of emails or in-product messages you send to us or exchange through the Services where those features exist.
- Payment-related data. If you pay for paid features, our payment processors may collect payment card or bank information; we generally receive limited billing status from them, not full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect security;
- Communicate with you about the Services, support requests, and policy changes;
- Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to improve product experience;
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and defend legal claims.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who assist us (for example hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools, security, or payments), subject to confidentiality and use restrictions;
- Other users of the Services where you choose to share a scan, report, or job with a homeowner, contractor, or team member as part of normal product workflows;
- Professional advisors (such as lawyers or accountants) where necessary;
- Authorities if we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information for money as that term is commonly understood under U.S. state privacy laws. We may use cookies or similar technologies as described below.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, analytics, and (where applicable) security or marketing. You can control some cookies through your browser settings; blocking certain cookies may affect functionality.
5. U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of certain U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others that enact similar laws) may have rights to:
- Access or obtain a copy of certain personal information we hold;
- Request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information in some cases;
- Opt out of certain processing such as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, where those terms apply under your state’s law;
- Appeal a decision on a request where required.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights afforded by applicable law. To submit a request, contact us at privacy@traquify.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
6. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary based on the type of data and how it is used.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Effective date” above. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
